Janet Hamilton

Janet has over 25 years of experience working with athletes of all ages and abilities and is an RRCA-certified distance running coach and served as an Instructor for the RRCA Coaching Certification program from 2005-2012. She earned her master’s degree in Exercise Physiology in 1987, and is a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) through the American College of Sports Medicine. She has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 1993, and has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1978.

Formerly an Assistant Professor at Clayton State University where she taught undergraduate Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Testing & Prescription, Injury Prevention & Care, as well as other Health/Fitness courses, Janet’s professional philosophy is “prevent future injuries by treating the cause not just the symptoms”.
